Brainstorm
Sit down with pencil and paper and think dreamy business thoughts for a minute or so. Next put pencil to paper and write down whatever enters your mind. It doesn’t have to be business related just as long as you write continuously for 5 minutes. If your mind goes blank write “I’m thinking” until something surfaces. When you are finished read thru your scribbling, focus on the most interesting words. You will be surprised with what your unconscious mind has an interest in.
Skills
Everyone is good at something. Most of us have completed high school or the equivalent. Many of us have completed college. Write out a list of your skills. Can’t think of any? If you are a mom you have organizational, diplomatic and delegating skills. If you are a dad you have managerial, coping and interpretation skills. My point is we all have skills we can use to offer a service or product that is marketable.
A business idea can be crafting like frilly baby bibs or fancy tutus. It can be offering service to fulfill a need in your local community. It can be finding things for people who don’t know how to begin a search. It can be filling in for a busy person or answering phones for a doctor’s office or planning and hosting a party.
We live in a very busy world. People always need someone to complete or assist with their tasks. Think back to the last time you needed some help.
