Find something that you feel you will enjoy and your work will never feel like work again.

See what advice they have to offer. Read blogs. Visit forums. Learn as much as possible about your idea for a business before you put it into action. Careful research can show you flaws in your plan or an easier path. There is no reason to do things the hard way when you can learn from the mistakes others have made along the way.
Remember there is no such thing as a completely unique home business idea. No matter what idea you come up with, chances are that someone else has done or tried something similar. You need to focus on giving your business a little something better or extra than the competition. Make sure you know what your competition is offering so that you can go one better in order to set yourself apart from your competitors
You do not need to have the most original or creative business idea to succeed. What you do need is a business you believe in, will enjoy, have studied extensively, and one in which you can set yourself apart in. Doing this will put you much closer to success.
