So much to do; So little time. How many times have you heard someone say those words?
We are living in a fast paced world these days and most people do not have enough time in their day to get everything done that they need to. A great way to make some extra money is run everyone else’s errands for them.
You could go grocery shopping for them, pay their bills, take their car through the car wash, or pick up their dry cleaning. You may want to purchase a cell phone to have with you just incase the person thinks of anything else while you are out.
Getting a plan with unlimited phone minutes would also be a smart thing to do because if you go over the amount of minutes that you are allowed each month you can rack up quiet a bill. If you are going to be running peoples errands a reliable car is a must.
It would also be a good idea to have the client pay for your gas mileage as well, so keep track of your gas every time you go someplace. Most people charge by the hour and how difficult the task is, ranging from $10 to $50 or so an hour.
You could also charge by the task itself, say $15 to go grocery shopping. You might be asking yourself why someone would pay somebody to do these types of errands for them when it would be so much cheaper just to do it themselves. Even though this is true, it will probably cut down on the amount of stress that they have in their lives.
That in turn will make them be healthier and more friendly to everyone else. It will also give them more quality time with their families and that is something that you can not put a price tag on.
