However, if this is not your thing, than inbound telemarketing may be more to your liking. Inbound telemarketers answer calls that the customer is already making, and goes from there.
For example, a customer may call a toll-free number to make a purchase, and their call will be routed directly to your computer and phone line. You answer the call, take the information, and enter it into the computer program that has been provided by the company. You get paid for the time you are on the phone in most cases, although a few companies do pay by the hour.
